Computational Complexity Conference

CCC 2020, July 28–30, Online

Venue

CCC'20 was scheduled to be held at Saarbruecken, Germany, from July 28–31, 2020. Due to the public health measures in place worldwide, the conference will be held online, in an abridged format July 28–30.

Program

The conference program has two components:
  • An asynchronous component consisting of pre-recorded talks and a discussion board. Half-hour talks by the authors of the accepted papers are publicly available on the CCC YouTube channel. A workspace on Slack has been created to facilitate discussions between registered participants.
  • A live component consisting of one-hour invited talks, half-hour talks on the award winning papers, and 10-minute talks on the accepted papers. The live talks will be given over Zoom during July 28–30, between 10 am and 2:15 pm EDT.

The full schedule of live events is available here.

In addition, we have the following live events:
  • Business meeting: A short business meeting will be held live over Zoom on Tuesday, July 28, 2:30 pm EDT.
  • Social gathering: An online social on Wednesday, July 29, 2:15 pm EDT.
  • Junior-Senior mixers: Mixers with small groups of junior and senior researchers held at different times outside of the conference hours.
Information on accessing the live talks and events will be shared with the registered participants separately.

Code of Conduct

The open exchange of ideas and the freedom of thought and expression are central to the aims and goals of CCC. These require an environment that recognizes the inherent worth of every person and group, that fosters dignity, understanding, and mutual respect, and that embraces diversity. The CCC'20 organizers are committed to providing an environment that is free of discrimination and harassment, and expect all participants to honor that commitment.

The organizers reserve the right to take any action they deem appropriate, including eviction from the live forum, in case of a violation of this code of conduct.

Registration

There is a registration fee for each accepted paper, to be paid by one of its authors. This fee covers a portion of the publication and other costs associated with the conference.

The pre-recorded talks will be available publicly, for free. Joining the live events is also free, but requires registration. There are a limited number of slots for the live events, and participants are encouraged to register early.

Registered participants automatically become members of the Computational Complexity Foundation (CCF) for a period of three years. This entitles them to participate in the elections for the CCF Board.

The registration fees and associated deadlines are listed below.
